The three major polymer types have been covered:
M&P (the full sized 9mm conceals easy, esp. with appendix carry. I'm a small guy and didn't even bother buying the smaller version)
M&P9c
XDM 9mm compact
XD 9mm compact
Glock 19
You really can't go wrong with any of them. Shoot them all and...

Remember we were asked about the TACTICAL use of lasers, not the range/competition use for lasers.
Under stress, your brain/eyes work differently. Lasers do nothing to help that and will only confuse it. Lasers also run out of batteries, are subject to refraction, short circut, etc...
Yes. This is typical "mall ninja" speak.
Without knowing how your rifle is applied, I can't comment.
THIS.
We aren't scout snipers in Iraq fighting the Madi Army....and even then I knew some of those guys and their weapons were always dedicated to their job....not some hybrid purpose...
No worries bro. Even if you were trying to be rude, we have thick skins here. It's required for internet gun talk. lol
I would believe those numbers given "ideal conditions", but in reality my observations in the ER paint a much different picture. I've still not seen a better explanation of...
> Anyone who is engaging a target with a handgun at 50 yards is a fool.
Tell that to the guy who just saved a cop with a 50 yard pistol shot a few months ago.
(Not that I recommend it. But why not make everything congruous? Use one sight set up for every distance)
> Laser sights improve target...
Attention mall ninjas:
The difference between a laser and your sights is far more dramatic as the laser is much, much farther away from the barrel. Thus at 7 yards, yeah it's not a big difference, at 10 and 25 yards the difference grows, by 50 (assuming you could see the laser) it's even...
This was me. I had shot my grandfather's and uncle's 1911s all of my life plus 1911 "type" weapons, but I never got around to owning a real 1911 of my own until this year.
I loved my XD and still love my M&P.....but my Springfield MC Operator is my princess. I had planned on buying a loaded...
Without sounding like a fanboy, because I do think some of his stuff is over complicated, I really do love this guy. So want to learn from him directly.
Smart.
Experienced.
No BS.
Funny.
Personable.
Teaches you to use your brain.
Everything you need in an instructor.
Blueboxer was being nice, and everything he said was correct.
I'll be a little more direct.
Please stop thinking that having one hand on the gun is in anyway ever a better decision than having two. (If you can help it)
You say that having the light in one hand and the gun in the other...
This
Speer, Hornady, Winchester, Federal etc
It makes little difference so long as you can hit your target. Pick your posion, buy enough to fill up both mags, pick a random few from each box and shoot them at the range to make sure you didn't get a bad lot.
Train up. There is no...
And this my friends, is how we know that my buddy Blueboxer is a lawyer.
His thoughts are pretty solid, and he's a smart guy. That being said, I'm not a lawyer, but I wouldn't think twice about using a "modified" gun to defend myself. Here in IN the law does favor the victim (read: the...
This.
Also, "adding features" to a 1911 is dangerous to its reliability if the parts aren't well researched and added correctly. 1911s don't "plug n play".
Putting anything other than a .45 in it makes it a knock off. A mere 9mm shaped like a 1911.
Look up 10-8 performance online and read...
Don't be too hard on Marc. He is in the "simple is always better / only use guns that will work 100 years after the apocalypse" corner.
There are plenty of other autos that will work fine beyond the M&P or Glock. (XD, XDM, Rugers, well made 1911s etc) I'd have to agree with the basic...
Whenever I see 45* sights on an AR, I can't help but think
:mallninja::mallninja::mallninja:
No offense.
Beyond high speed professional 3 gun competitions I just don't see the point.
If you have an AR for home defense.....why does it have anything but a red dot/ iron sight set up...
Unless your opponent is standing exactly at the range where you sighted it in, lasers don't give true point of aim- point of impact because they travel in a straight line. Bullets do not.
You're better off learning to use your front sight, otherwise you're relying on a laser when could be...
Ho-ly Crap.
We have a three part building:
Traditional Strip Club area
Traditional Range Area
Girls wearing next to nothing while shooting guns!!
Throw in some lazer tag with strippers and....
We're gonna be rich!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good old Mike Madigan.
That man cost me a bet when he stole the 2010 governor election. My buddy (fellow campaign manager) actually got rushed out of a voting precinct, lynch mob style, when he discovered the machines had been tampered with.
Madigan is such an evil genius that he actually...
Looking at his resume:
Israel Defense Force: ‘Givati Brigade’ Infantry Combat
• Honorable discharge with rank of first sergeant
• Operated in multiple hostile environments, commanding checkpoints, house raids and ambushes
• Served in an anti-terror capacity in Lebanon, Ramallah, Nablus and...
