So, What Do I Do With This?

A PPC revolver makes a great steel challenge gun. Plus it looks cool. But it would look good as an ornament too. I am sure you will do the right thing.

      browning buckmark extractor removal

I am pretty sure you just need a small screwdriver to hold the plunger out of the way and the extractor should just just pop out.

So, What Do I Do With This?

Assuming the frame is large enough, build a PPC revolver. Not practical. Possibly more than double the cost of a new one. Otherwise, add string; hang on tree.

      Glock 17 or 19

Looking for a cheap Glock 17 (preferred) or 19 to serve as the base for a project. Since I plan to replace the barrel, springs and most of the trigger components, the condition does not matter too much. Gen 2 or 3 preferred, but a Gen 1 will work. Looking for a 22 Plinker

A 22 revolver is the least ammo sensitive choice out there. Plus, if a round does not fire...pull the trigger again to move on to the next one. I like the Ruger SP101 in 22 LR and I plan to buy one in the near future. Would be a bit over your budget new, but such is life.

The extractor spring, plunger and the extractor itself need to be replaced. Secondly, check the edge of the chamber adjacent to the slot where the extractor sits when the slide is closed. If there is any damage, peening or the like, you might to clean that up. You can do it yourself if you...

      looking for some advice

Tightening the shooting hand fingers and/or jerking the trigger causes shots to pull down and left. Too little trigger finger will pull shots to the left. Breaking the wrist down will cause shot to pull low....so it it could be a combination of any of the four. Of the four, I suspect tightening...
