A PPC revolver makes a great steel challenge gun. Plus it looks cool. But it would look good as an ornament too.
I am sure you will do the right thing.
Assuming the frame is large enough, build a PPC revolver. Not practical. Possibly more than double the cost of a new one.
Otherwise, add string; hang on tree.
Looking for a cheap Glock 17 (preferred) or 19 to serve as the base for a project. Since I plan to replace the barrel, springs and most of the trigger components, the condition does not matter too much. Gen 2 or 3 preferred, but a Gen 1 will work.

A 22 revolver is the least ammo sensitive choice out there. Plus, if a round does not fire...pull the trigger again to move on to the next one.
I like the Ruger SP101 in 22 LR and I plan to buy one in the near future. Would be a bit over your budget new, but such is life.

Tightening the shooting hand fingers and/or jerking the trigger causes shots to pull down and left. Too little trigger finger will pull shots to the left. Breaking the wrist down will cause shot to pull low....so it it could be a combination of any of the four. Of the four, I suspect tightening...
