    Hey all -

I was helping my grandparents paint there living room last weekend and stumbled upon gun cleaning solvent in a closet. I have never known my grandparents to have this kind of equipment so I asked why they had the solvent. Turns out my grandfather indeed has a handgun. I was told it was his grandfathers. We tried to locate it but unfortunately we couldn't find it.

Well I am happy to report it has turned up and I had the chance to check it out this evening. I am now told they believe this was my grandfather's great grandfathers gun.

Haven't been able to locate a serial decoder (375316*)so any help would be appreciated... Also posting some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

    Enjoy !

Smith Number 1,2 or 3 will get you in the right direction. Nice. Lots of variations if I recall correctly. Good luck.

Nice little family heirloom. They aren't worth much even in great shape. Yours is a poster child for not storing a handgun in a leather holster.
