I have to get a holster made custom from someone, planning on this being my new daily carry.
Beretta APX A1 Compact tactical, Aimpoint Acro P2, and Steiner Tor Fusion.

After the trigger broke in, I quite like it, and the trigger reach feels like it's about half what a glock is. They may be cheap but they're fantastic.

PSA compact dagger, grit grips aluminum magwell, 3 mags, and carry bag. Into this for $383 after shippings, taxes, and transfer fees. Not too shabby for a backup. Just needs an optic. And I say shippings because I made multiple orders to split up the cost.

I got my Grit Grips GG19 frame for Gen3 Glocks. I put my AIM slide, OC Customs trigger and Aro-Tek slide release in it. It comes standard with a Gen 4 compatible mag release. It feels like a Gen 5 in my hands, only more rounded. The texture is awesome. No issues whatsoever installing the frame components. Initial impression is very good. Slide to frame fit is at least as good as factory. The beavertail, double undercut and thumb ledges are very comfortable. This frame is light years ahead of the SCT19 frame I had.

I plan on taking the extra OEM frame I have and put an Advantage Arms optic ready .22lr slide assembly on it.

That looks really good, as nice as Glock as I’ve ever seen. I really like the finger rest above the trigger and the cut outs below the trigger guard. All around good-looking stuff, man.!

I like your build. Is the grip angle less than a factory Glock? Looks angled more like shadow system or dagger.

Also is the SCT frame a no go? I haven’t heard much.

My “strike 19” build from a couple years back. Played with the idea of Magpul 21s for reloading. Bit much to carry it like this but it’s not too obtrusive to shoot and holster

The grip angle is 18 degrees. Gotta get used to that with the red dot.
The SCT frame just did not feel good in my hands. I sold it to a buddy and he likes it. Go figure.

My Taurus TX-22 with an older Sightmark dot and an old TLR-3 I had laying around. Good for the furry porch pirates at the Farm.20240703_210544.jpg

Steyr M9-A2 MF (modular frame). I really like this gun and shot it well enough that I’m going to have the slide milled for a red dot (no optics ready version). Picked it up brand new for only $375, so I can afford to get that done still.

It has a very, very low bore axis and unique sights which aren’t hard to figure out, I just prefer dots on guns I may carry. I’ve heard it was designed by a former Glock engineer who wanted make improvements on the Glock and they wouldn’t listen. Looks like he did and I recommend it!

How exactly do you remove the slide on this model? It doesn't appear to have a pin or a takedown lever. I haven't had the opportunity to look at one of these up close but I like the ergonomics of it. Seems to be well thought out.

The takedown lever is on the other side. I actually like that it leaves a lot of open real estate for my thumb when shooting.

So it's on what I would call the passenger side of the gun? Or the right side if you were looking from the back of the slide forward? Is it a takedown lever similar to a Smith & Wesson or something like that? That rotates a quarter turn or whatever.

Nothing makes me feel more patriotic than carrying an American flag Glock :)

A G48 that I actually won in a raffle once, which feels even more American. Been thinking about picking up a 43 slide for it too, that way I can have a 43x.
