3 days peeps, get your proverbial "dad ****" together. Case in point, RR had to stop at CVS after work as he almost forgot to get his wife stocking stuffers. Can't be leaving momma with a flat sock, no sir.

How is everyone? It's cold tonight.

    Morning folks! :coffee:

My oldest is coming up later this morning with plans for a range trip this afternoon. I don’t think I’ll take anything that I want to test accuracy on since this will just be a fun, plinking trip. There’s no snow, so we will probably skip the Mosins

I need to run a batch of .45 through the Dillon this week. I did a quick trip to MCFG yesterday morning running only 1911s and ate up my ready supply.

I forgot to grab pics but I ran CM’s stainless Springer, a CZ 1911A1 and my DW A2 Commander. All functioned flawlessly and reminded me why I love that platform. I was practicing my draw from holster and was doing really well (for me).

1911s have been what I’ve carried most throughout the years and even though I’ve moved to Sig in the last year, the muscle memory for the 1911 is still alive and well. Enough so that I’ve begun to carry the A2 Commander again. That is one of those guns for me that just feels like it’s a part of me when I shoot it.

No kidding! I have a tendency to forget stuff on range trips and every other range trip generally has me realizing what was left at home. Most times, it’s the stapler or staples that are still in the other range bag but at times, it’s been the rifle, the ammo or hearing protection.

I am a person that needs checklists to make sure I have what I need when I need it.
