I have wanted to go to this for a couple of years, but my schedule doesn't usually work out. This Friday I will be there.
I would like to try a pistol caliber carbine or two, and I have a couple of questions. Is there a limit on the number of rounds in a mag? And, how many mags will I need?

There is no limit to the number rounds you can have in your mags. You will need five mags.

That might be a problem then. The two I'm wanting to shoot, I don't have that many mags for. Thanks for the quick reply Don.

Question for any whom can answer. If you have a factory ported gun/barrel (Glock 22C) would that put you into Open class or Limited? Wasn't 100% sure on that, my guess was Open but I wanted to double check first. Thanks!

If you don't miss often with your 1911 I think you will be ok. However there isn't sound to a competitive shooter that gets your heart racing more than the beep of a shot timer! When I've shot with my 1911 I usually bring 8-10 mags...but then again I'm not that good. You should be fine with the G19 and the XDM imo.

Not sure with FNS, but every other discipline I've ever seen, a ported barrel (factory or not) gets you bumped to Open.
