Who I am. Ex-United States Army Pathfinder / Korean Interrogator (97E).

I believe everyone has a right to bear arms. I'm a Desert Storm vet. I'm a registered Indiana voter.

I support Obama 120% (although I hate his position on FISA, but understand his need to support it currently). I own an M16A2 because it gives me fond memories of my time in the military.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment as written, not as translated. The right for "the people", not "every person" to bear arms. I believe that that right is limited to the right to defend ones home (militia), and if away from home, that right is curtailed. I believe anyone that pulls a gun on a man to threaten him loses that right to bear arms. You pull a gun out, don't hesitate; Shoot the bastard and hope the law agrees with you. Someone pulls a gun on me, there better be not even the slightest bit of hesitation to shoot because I will kill the man if he doesn't.

I am not a nice guy. I will argue with the best of you if I'm right, and I will apologize when I find I was wrong. HOWEVER, I do not get angry. If you think I'm all irrational and pissed at a comment you made, you are wrong. I do not mean to EVER be insulting, I will say how I feel short of using derogatory terminology towards you (If I think you're an *******, I won't actually say precisely how I feel, and I probably already think you're an ******* :P). I will always think carefully, excluding outside influence from media or other posters before leaving a reply to something I disagree with. But I will post on things I disagree with.

Well you sound like one from that hello post. :p

FWIW, Dave will have some interesting opinions, and he's absolutely right -- he doesn't ever get upset/angry. Ever.

And he is stalking me. ;)

It's good to see you, baby. :)

Doesn't matter, I'm not gonna keep ruffling feathers, just did some posting to make sure you guys saw I was here. I'm happy on just this thread. :P

So, when did you get all into Guns? There's some history here I seemed to have missed out on.

Well, you see I became a vigilante, and regularly just pull out my piece to intimidate people who don't do what I want them to.... Pami saw it worked and......

OK no not really. I've intended to take advantage of my second amendment rights since I was 18.

She has her own story on coming around. That if you poke around here long enough, you'll likely get to read.

    That was mean.

That was better, and more accurate.

Just in the last few months. Lars is right, if you poke around here, especially in the women's issues forum, you'll see. Or, read the last few blogs on my myspace page. I talked about it there, too.

I *really* need to work now, though. I'll check back in later tonight.

Yay, I get to learn something new today!

I get to learn how to use the ignore feature!

This poster has absolutely nothing positive to add to this board. It is truly a waist of my time (and yours) to read, much less reply to, posts by this "member."

I suggest that just because you disagree with him doesn't mean he has nothing to add or that he's a waste of time. I don't agree with his posts either, but I'll still read them and I'm still willing to let him have his say.

Understood, that's your job. I respect it and you. What I don't respect is one coming to a site of specific interest to intentionally immediately post opposing views and nothing more. No courtesy, no credibility, no respect.

There is a word used for that kind of poster. We all know what it is.

He came here looking to see what I was up to, and he has made the decision this is not the place for us to catch up on things. He's moved on, so should you. Please.

I'm not interested either in his pro Obama, anti gun, and IMO socialist views of America and what it should be but I'm not quite ready to hit the Ignore Button just yet. This may turn out to be quite entertaining ;)

I'm sure that Sphynx isn't the only one here with pro Obama views (and that is their right). He just speaks openly about it. To some, gun ownership is just a passing fancy, entertainment, sport for passing time in the burbs, but for others it's a philosophy and way of life.

Just find it interesting that a displaced Hoosier, living in the Netherlands finds it entertaining to post pro Obama and IMO anti gun views on an Indiana pro gun board. Things must be really slow in The Hague :rolleyesedit:
