Bad move to wear the shirt. Then everyone will know you are bidding on the guns. I would have wore one of my quilting convention shirts.

how many people are there approximately?

Yeah. The estate auction is here. Closing the doors at 10:15. Capacity is almost full.

Its absolutely flabberghasting how much ammo and firearms this guy owned.
Hoping to walk away with some ammo, uppers, and one of the MANY CZ 75B's

My prediction... the rare stuff will go for A LOTTTT. People drove from CA and AK for this. They won't leave empty handed. Lots of Johnson 41's., full auto's, even a FA M1917 A1.
I'm just after the standard stuff. I can't afford the big boys anyways.

If the house is full it will be a bidding frenzy. Will be tough to get a deal today.

    Oh I agree with that.
Even if I walk away empty handed, its a pretty neat experience. Doubt I'll ever see a single estate of this magnitude in the forseeable future. Its seriously bigger than some small gun shows I've been to.
This is my first auction of any sort so it'll be quite an experience.

I know a old guy that has at least 5 times that many guns in a collection, 4 bedrooms stacked from floor to ceiling in unopened boxes. We will see some huge estate auctions in the coming years.....as they pass away and the kids sell out.

Most things will likely go on the high side. In addition, many will bid forgetting about the tax and buyers premium (17% total). :spend:

It would really have been interesting to watch if this auction was online like they do at Christys. The extra bidders really drives the price up.
