Picked up three Birchwood/Casey Darkotic splattering zombie targets at my LGS. I know but I just wanted something different to shoot at for a change. They were heavy, well made and worked just fine. My only disappointment was that they didn't have a colored sublayer for the splatter. It would have looked cooler if it looked like blood or green zombie gook where the hits were. Everyone else agreed as well. All in all I give them a 3 1/2 out of five for the lack of sublayer color. It really was disappointing. The kids all said that red for the brain shots and green for body shots would have been really cool. After all, body shots won't kill zombies, it takes head shots. :D

Tim did a review on The Military Channel for the bleeding targets.

Personally, I would rather shoot at a AR500 target for that price.
We have cut some zombies in the past.
