    I want a 1911. Not sure of the brand yet but I want something that you can change and polish. They seem to have endless possibities.

    I heard the Nagant 1895 revolvers are pretty decent and very advanced for its time. A cheap army surplus one will run you about 100 for a late 40's model. I believe its one of a very few revolvers that can be effectively silenced as well due to the cylinder-barrel seal characterisitics.


    I have one of these, and it is a very interesting piece. The double action hammer spring on that thing feels like a leaf-spring off of a dump truck! Shooting the Nagant 1895 revolver almost takes two hands on double action.

    Still neat though.

    looks like im going for a ruger lcp. need a pocket pistol for myself and something my wife can be comfortable shooting too!
