I don't have any .gov experience...

But let's see if I can get a top 5 (in no particular order)

    Steyr M9-A1
Some kind of old Russian Olympic .22lr competition pistol
Browning BL-22 (First gun I ever shot...)
    M&P9c
    G-19

    Pretty low-end stuff, eh?

    Hmmm....

Idk that I could rank them, but I'll list some of my favorites (mostly guns that I own).

    1. Suppressed R700 in .308, if you've never shot suppressed HP rifle, you should, it is awesome!
    2. Sig 556 rifle (if you haven't shot one you should, they have a completely different feel from ARs and AKs; very balanced and a "smooth" feel that can't really be explained)
    3. Sig Classic Handguns (not model specific, they're mostly all the same just different sizes).
    4. AK's, any of them. I have a few Vector Polish Underfolders, an AMD65, and some Romy G-kits they're all a blast to shoot
    5. Lever action anything. I love lever-guns, and don't have enough of them. I really love the Win94 in both 30-30 and .44 mag, and dad has a Browning lever .22 that is a tack driver.

It's pretty pedestrian bunch, but here goes:

1: IMI Timberwolf pump in .357 Mag. Slick working, light, fast handling and extremely accurate. Also high on my "Keep Forever" list.

2: Marlin Model 39M .22 RF. It's kept me fed and entertained for nearly thirty years now, and just keeps getting better.

3: LH Remington 1100 12 ga. The only shotgun I was ever able to break 100 straight clay birds with.

4: CZ 97B .45 ACP. Came OoTB every bit as accurate and reliable as the custom 1911A1 from a Big Name maker that cost me almost 4X the money and an 8 mo. wait to get.

5: Springfield M1 Garand, 1943 vintage, converted to 7.62x51 NATO.

    Honorable Mentions: Polytech-made commercial SKS carbine; Taurus M94 .22 RF revolver; Dan Wesson M15-2 .357; S&W 625-4 .45 ACP/AR, EAA Witness 9x19 and Rossi M62 .22 RF pump.
