    I think I'll stick with my pickup truck for bugging out.

    However a cement mixer would be a much better choice than a pickup truck for mixing, transporting & pouring large quantities of cement though.

    I've been watching these government liquidation auctions and learning about them. One of the big warnings I've seen is to not expect these vehicles to be road worthy. So plan to truck that deuce and a half home. Which can add up.

    I'm watching for a M1008!

    Government Surplus Auctions at Government Liquidation

    There are some M813 5 tons up for auction at Stout Field starting the 9th of Nov. Should be able to pick one up pretty cheap. I haven't seen what the 5 tons go for, but you can pick the 2 1/2 tons up for under $2500.

    They all sold for between $1870-$3223. I'd look for them to be in the auto/rv paper or online pretty soon for two-three times that price. They would have been a good deal if you could get one home.
