They are built like a tank. You can get a used one for $15,000

I think I'll stick with my pickup truck for bugging out.

However a cement mixer would be a much better choice than a pickup truck for mixing, transporting & pouring large quantities of cement though.

There are some M813 5 tons up for auction at Stout Field starting the 9th of Nov. Should be able to pick one up pretty cheap. I haven't seen what the 5 tons go for, but you can pick the 2 1/2 tons up for under $2500.

Its basically a form you fill out after you win an auction telling them who is buying and for what reason. I've never bought anything off the site, but it looks like its set-up like e-bay. If you get on the website there's instructions on how to set-up an account, bid, and pay.

I've been watching these government liquidation auctions and learning about them. One of the big warnings I've seen is to not expect these vehicles to be road worthy. So plan to truck that deuce and a half home. Which can add up.

They all sold for between $1870-$3223. I'd look for them to be in the auto/rv paper or online pretty soon for two-three times that price. They would have been a good deal if you could get one home.
