I believe the only Marines getting these are assigned to SOCOM. SOCOM has authority to buy outside of normal military channels.

Yeah, nobody is really excited about it here on Camp Lejeune because even as Armorers we will never see them unless we pay a visit to the guys over at MARSOC. Glad to see a step in the right direction. I'm so sick of the M9.
