For the Xdm fans they are now offering a .45 with 4.5" barrel.

XDM 45

I'm waiting for Springfield to come out with the XDM 45 compact. They just released the XDM compact in 9mm. Cutting the grip down a bit has made it a realistic option for CC now. I would just prefer to carry a 45.

The 3.8 is still a bit bit to conceal with ease. The grip is just too long and it cuts into my mid section. Hopefully they will have them developed and on store shelves by the middle of the summer.

Just got done watching they xdm .45 on the show handguns on the sportsman channel on dish network they shot 1000 rounds then drug it behind a truck down a rock road and then shot another thousand rounds and it was still as accurate as it was when it was new. Wow I have the xdm 40 3.8 already and wanted the 45 and now I think I'm ready to get it. Also want the Kimber 1911 so hopefully that will work out this week for me.
