I've got a great condition remington Model 81 chambered for the .35 Remington for sale. Blueing is in great shape with a lttle wear here and there. Wood looks wonderful, no big dents or scratches, no cracks at all. This is the second model of the first reliable semi-auto rifle ever made. The model 8 was the original. A few small changes and you hcae teh 81. It's a five shot, 22" bareled rifle in the great .35 Remington caliber. Made in December of 1936. Ammo is still widely available, I've even seen it at Meijer's. A bit more power than the .30-30. Can be reloaded easily with .357 cal pistol bullets for lighter loads. I've got an older Model 8 that I normally load with 158gr .357 cal JHP's for fun plinking.
Looks liek this rifle:
I'm sking $450 for it. I can get pics tomorrow after work for anyone interested. I'm located on the west side of Indy for a FTF.
hate to sell it, but found something else I'd like to have.
Please ask any questions you may have.
Edited to add some pics of my actual rifle
