I'm a handgun novice, so please forgive my ignorance. I know about 9 mm, but what is a 9 X 18 mm? Where is Makarov manufactured? Is ammunition available?

9mm Makarov is a Russian round, not as powerful as the 9mm Luger you are probably familiar with, more powerful than .380. It's a good round, the guns are good. Ammo availability in normal times is good. Nowadays... well, it's as available as anything else. Cabella's says they'll have some S&B ammo shipped in a week or so.
