    Karl,
Does not matter as long as it's clean
Driving is no issue I am near South Bend But Boss & Inlaws are in Indy
Some days a 3 hour trip to my next job is not uncommon

Britton, is 38Sp an issue in place of .357 in the handi rifle?
I have heard the rossi has no issues either way
Also what sights do you have on yours? I really don't want to scope it.
I have also in my research found the rossi is lighter
This rifle will be for my daughter

38's will run fine, but she should not notice the .357 recoil to much at all. My 13 year old hates recoil and he handled 180 grain .357 through his marlin just fine. The H&R's come with scope rails, not open sights. Not a bad thing, a youngster will do well with a nice red dot on top of the rail.
