WTB: 9mm handgun

Well, as I can't seem to trade my SKS for one, I'm now looking to buy a 9mm handgun for concealed carry. I'm looking for something in the compact to sub-compact size range. I think my ideal gun would be a Sig 229, I love the way Sig's fit in my hand. A Glock 19 or 26 would be good also, as well as a Springfield XD compact. Cosmetics aren't too important to me, I don't mind a few scratches as long as I can count on the thing to go off each time I pull the trigger. I'm looking to spend around $500 or under, and I'm located in southern Indiana, but willing to drive for the right deal. Thanks!
