WTB 30-30 levergun

This isn't for me, but I have a buddy who wants a 30-30 levergun for a truck gun. The shorter the barrels the best and either Winchester or Marlin.

Ideally, he'd like to have a Winchester Trapper model.

I like Marlins a little better than Winchester, however Winchesters are not made anymore. Check out the Gunbroker.com. I've seen some nice lever actions that go at reasonable prices, but I've also seen some go for too much, IMO.

30-30

I have a very nice lever action Marlin 30-30 Model 30 in very good condition. A couple small (hardly noticable) dings/dents on the wood. Recently aquired so do not know the total round count (I have put 0 through the barrel), but it is in great condition. I can e-mail pictures for you. I am on the Southwest side of Indy. I would want $325.00 for the rifle. Thanks for reading.

I have a very nice Winchester 94/Sears labeled 30-30 lever in excellent shape with original owners manual and receipt (1971) that I am asking $275 for. I am on the north side of Bloomington.
