I'm genuinely shocked by this. I thought they were a great charity. I had no idea they were run by religious bigots.

I guess you can't be in partnership with CBS and the NFL by allowing church fundraisers.

I hope their apologies were sincere and truly an oversight and not a PR move. Wounded Warrior has been a great organization and I hope they get their policies fixed!

I know the WWP has done much good. So have other organizations.

Sounds like a PR move. Their "apology" was to let this one church be an exception to their rule.

Looks like they made a mistake accepting the church's application fee to begin with, now they're just looking for a way out without the negative publicity.
