I'll wait for others to comment, but my first thought is, uh, NO !!!!!
The # 1 reason, is one misstep, and someone gets shot !!!!!

Would you let me advertise that kind of training HERE ?????

    Good gravy no!

There's only one semi smart guy in that whole video. He's the one without a gun using the other guy as a human shield.

    No beards.
    No velcro patches.
    No rolls of any kind.
    No using children as cover.
No photographer next to the target.

    Not operator enough. Cannot participate.

There is no term for "Plaintiffs Bar" or "Taiwanese Trial Lawyers Association" in the Republic of China.:D

However, there are 38 terms for "Assumption of the Risk" in the Guoyu dialect.:D

    Could be anywhere
And if you're a ChiCom your ability to make a choice is zero. It's what you're told to do...and the rest of the time you're one of the few with a gun.

    Given a choice...no.

Well, if I get to pick the other team members, or know the team members well enough. why not?

It would certainly help train the participants to 'keep cool' with bullets whizzing by, which is what one MUST do in an actual gunfight.

    Ah, Taiwan....clazy.

You can tell because Guoyu uses traditional characters as the simplified form were touted by the CPC.

Just different acceptable levels of risk. You see the same thing in non-gun martial arts in RoC. The training weapons are often real, and frickin' razor sharp. Ask me how I know.:D

It should be noted that these guys are not the only ones who train in 'live' situations with live ammo. It's not something to be 'feared' but it is to be respected.

Gotta have confidence in the abilities of your partners / team, and utter confidence in your own abilities.

Maybe if I was in some kind of high speed Delta Force/SEAL Team 6 hostage rescue unit. But as an armed citizen? NOPE.

I train in defensive gun use to AVOID being injured or killed. The last thing I want to include in my training is something that puts me in GREATER DANGER than what I might face on the street.
