    Dude, that is the most idiotic thing I have ever seen. I am all for the right to carry arms but that thing is dangerous. A child who is around someone using that thing and then sees a real handgun the consequences could be devastating.

    Let me just say that using this in public, bringing it to a store in the open, is the only really bad idea here.

    I can only imagine how my staff or many of my customers (especially all the ones with LTCH's) would react if they walked into the store, came out of the bathroom, or looked up from a phone call and saw a guy pointing a gun at his own head. Note the tip is not visible when pressed against the head.

    If that happened in my shop, it is entirely possible the toy would not be the only gun in the open.

    Did it ever occur to any one that it is not a real gun?

    Yeah. The article even mentioned that it was a pellet gun. It even described how to build your own. My favorite part was after all the work, using rubber bands to hold it together.
