I have a like new Winchester Model 70 with synthetic stock and Simmons scope. The bolt action is smooth as silk and bore is flawless. Maybe shot 20 times, it is about 8 years old. I love this gun and hate to sell it but I am wanting to go a different direction. $500 I would trade for a 1911

    Can you answer the following:

Since it's about 8 years old--was it made in CT?
Does it have the 3 position safety?
    Target (recessed) crown?
Bell and Carlson (or McMillan) stock or is just the Winchester synthetic?
Controlled round feed? (The larger claw extractor)?

Sorry for the questions, I'm familiar with the older models and the recent models but I'm not sure what they were like 8 years ago--I know that many different model features were produced around that time.

    Thank you!
