Went to gun school with a NASA cop. We called him "Astrocop".

Nice guy. He carried an AR-15 and a Remington 11-87.

Can you even shoot this in space? I would think the recoil would take you out of orbit! Just saying.

I like the genre of Alternate Reality novels..wherein changes in our history would make for a different day reality. If the Space Race of the 60's hadn't been politically driven but scientifically, there'd be no need for AR-15s at all...
