Why the hate for Cyclists?

Spent a lot of time picking the glass out of my arm hair.
Next day at an INGO M&E, an INGOers wife asked why I didn't just vacuum the glass out.

Well, that's what I get for being single. Didn't OWN A OR KNOW HOW TO USE A vacuum.

I don't want/need people jumping in my car at intersections
Situational Awareness only gets you so far.

If I see someone on the side of the road on my commute I usually stop and ask if they need anything. Just not that many people walking down a dirt road. Nobody ever seems to be at the intersections. Twice as much chance to get dusted, I guess. Personally, I like making friends, I don’t know what your problem is!

I can beat that, I owned an extended cab truck for about 6 months before I realized it had doors for the extended portion of the cab! Being old school the extended cab area in the past always required moving the front seats forward to access the rear area. I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!!!!

Both received tickets, the cyclist for disorderly conduct and the driver for passing too closely. The driver is fighting his ticket, which i think he should win because the only evidence is his dash cam footage wich clearly showed him slowing down and moving over.

I don't think they could prove he moved over less than 3 feet from the video.

In any case, the driver handled it better than I think I would have. Once you rip my car door open and try to detain me, all bets are off.

But he was driving a Subaru!
