Kinda glad I stocked up on Federal bulk packs when it was still $9.99/550 pack.

That was a long time ago and I still have quite a bit of that left. I think I bought about 250 bulk packs over a 6-8 month period because I saw the writing on the wall.

Up north, Plymouth area Walmart never has 40gr bulk of any kind. I've been buying Federal American Eagle bulk at Midwest gun Exchange. It's off sale now but earlier this summer they had it for $17.90/500. It's been fast food for all of my 22 weapons.

It can still be found online around $20 per box. I know what I'm going to do. :)

They have american eagle and cci for 16.99 if thats your flavor.

I have always liked the American Eagle. Has always worked 100% , but you do have to watch buying it... It is offered in both 400 rd & 500 round bricks... Had some in my cart from PSA and luckily I saw in one of the reviews they were 400 rd bricks... If I hadn't stumbled across the reviews , I would of never caught it.

I really don't understand the fetish wiht the Federal 550 bulk packs.... As long as it's not remington, stock up on whatever you can find and shoot the snot out of it. Nobody's gonna win any competitions with bulk high velocity ammo.

Depends on the type competition. Just about any rimfire steel match winner is probably using bulk pack.

Super-Buck Mark likes the federal, but it has been tough to find. I used Winchester bulk for the last SCSA match at ACC (I won 22PO :D)

It hates the CCI Blazer and Remington stuff though.

Walmart in Greenwood at Co Line road had a couple of packs on Tuesday, but I would have died from old age before I could have gotten someone back there to get them for me. Gander has the same thing on sale this week for $19.95...call first because they seem to always run out too.

Is there a better deal than $19 or $20 per brick online? I'm going to place an order in two weeks that's going to be very hard to pickup without bending your knees.

I work at the Cabela's in Hammond, and we have Federal bulk packs coming out of our ears. Maybe Federal just stopped making Walmart their own special boxes.

Place called Dunn's Sporting Goods has bulk Federal online for $169.99 shipped. That's for 5250 rounds. It is the blue box. That works out to just over $16 per 500.

It's out of stock. :( That'd have been one sweet deal though.
