Whenever a non or an anti asks me why I have/need a gun, you can almost hear the gears clashing in their brains when I say "to shoot people". It always takes them a while to realign, because I've destroyed their initiative by throwing them off the script. I don't carry a .45 because I'm worried that a random target practice is going to break out.

Anyone else find it ironic that the one that's for "self defense against enemies, foreign and domestic" is a Russian rifle? I mean, nothing wrong with the choice of weapon, but I would have thought they'd pick an AR... "America's Rifle".

I would chalk it up to underscoring that 'shall not be infringed' includes denying me the product from wherever I may choose to buy, as opposed to limiting me to domestic production. (George HW Bush, can you wrap that empty head of yours around this idea?)
