There is no "rallying point" or the likes, so I hope this is a suitable topic for the general discussion...

So who all is from Southern Indiana (Evansville area)?

I live in Warrick County and am a member at Izaak Walton. Where does everyone else shoot?

BTW, if anyone is ever interested in a gathering, shoot me a PM. I have a humble, but wide variety of firearms and would be more than happy to let a fellow Hoosier gunny try themout.

Im originally from Boonville,Lived rite down the road from the Izaak Walton league on Pelzer road and spent a lot of time there shooting,fishing,camping and "getting stupid" my best friends mom{havent seen him for years tho} was the care taker of Izaak Walton league. does a lady named Sharon still run it?
I currently live in Evansville and would love to get together with ya to shoot at Izaak Walton for old time sake.

I'm with VN Vet.
Graduated in 1972 from Boonville- worked at Wright Mine just north of Red Brush 'til '82.
Moved to the west side of Evansville in '86 and got transferred near Indianapolis in 1993.

Will retire in a few years and hopefully move to deer country in Warrick County- hopefully near Tennyson or Folsomville.
At least that's the plan. Will join Red Brush at that time.

yup that would be her...aka "momma bear" Ill have to go out there and get my membership I guess.

the rifle range there use to be really nice but I here its went somewhat down hill in recent years{not very well taken care of} dont know if there is any truth to that. anywho..Im game for a range day,we have enough folks from the area that it should be alot of fun with a good turn out.
