In much of the third world, people just use whatever guns they can get their hands on.
We see that alot at the Henryville/Clark County Forestry as well.

I'm surprised it doesn't have a rock launcher. Those guys are going to have rotator cuff issues later in life from all the manual rock tossing they do
I'll take a m1 over an ak everytime. Not obsolete but not as common anymore, everybody wants an AK now.
"Keep them out of our hands"? Really? CMP is selling surplus Garands by the thousands every year. Go buy one, or a dozen.
No, this guy is just as bad as everybody else in the region that thinks their finger is supposed to be on the trigger at all times. This picture just happened to not catch him doing it, but this one does..His finger is off the trigger Plus, what about just about EVERYONE else in the region who holds a gun with safety off/finger on trigger/muzzle sweep everyone? He actually seems to know how to hold a gun. Muzzle up, finger off the trigger.
I thought I had heard that the M1 Garands were allowed in, but the M1 Carbines were still on hold?Rockhopper was probaly talking about the Korean guns that we were denied.
How do all these damn terrorists have weapons but I have to save up for months to be able to afford one?

This gun is too nice for them. Kudos to the nostalgia factor, but for all we know, they killed the prior owner/collector for the largesse of having a firearm collection and this M1 came from looting that collection.
Someone should tell him to put the safety on.
