    Well for new years I pan seared two very thick filet mignon and a nice ribeye. Then placed them in the oven as I made some bordelaise sauce. It was actually pretty good Haha.

    Made a pot of chipotle chili with rice yesterday. Was scrumptious. Enough left for 2 bowls. And everyone knows chili is better the 2nd day.

    Just took an 8 lb butt off the egg that was on since midnight. Wrapped and settling for pulled pork later on. Odd, usually the colder temps take longer so I don't know if the wind played into it but it only took 12 hours instead of the usual 16

    4.5 lb apple wood smoked bacon encrusted pork loin, over cooked a little bit:(but very good flavor
