who has a YHM Phantom .308 on a 5.56

I saw on YouTube that the YHM Phantom .308 suppressor does a pretty good job on a 5.56 too.

Any body have an reviews/experience for this can on a 5.56?

I finally got my stamp back so I ma inclined to use the same can on my 5.56 too if it does a decent job.

It's really a subjective thing .

Does it work , yes but not as good as my 5.56 can does .

Corey from SSNFA did a comparison video which caused me to buy one. Yes the 5.56 is slightly quieter, but you can use the 308 on 308, .556, 300blk, 7.62x39 etc.

I've got the 308 on the way, reputable sources told me that there isn't much of a difference in sound level. But I am looking to get the 556 also, it is cheaper, lighter and quieter when shooting 5.56.

Or maybe I'll just work towards a second 308 hmmmmmm!

EDIT: just saw the OP already has the 308, that being said, shoot 5.56 through it as much as you can! Won't be disappointed!

Vitamink, thanks for posting. Corey, thanks for making it. Very little difference in the sound. If I'd have seen this earlier I could have just bought one.

Just don't show this to my wife. I've got her convinced each gun has to have its own can!

Yes it is heavy, but it will work until a dedicated 5.56 can is bought, it was intended for the Remington 700 .308
