    I don't OC anywhere.If I am carrying my firearm,I don't want others knowing I have a weapon on me.
Lately I have not been carrying mine with me except for when working.New job allows me to carry as long as it is out of sight, which it is,but I have easy access to it and I do keep on chambered in my M&P Shield.
I feel that someone could easily walk up and disarm you if it's in the open. To many crazy, meth heads in my area makes me think this way.I don't want to be shot and possibly killed by someone using my firearm.

I can't believe these very important points haven't been brought up before...

by the way, have you given any thought to the right caliber to carry?

    I don't OC because I'm not a d***head wannabe cop.
    I don't CC because I'm not a p**** who's ashamed of excersizing his rights.

    I JFC because..

I'm gonna take the novel approach and answer the question. I think the OP brought up some good points. I don't generally OC unless I'm at an event where others are OCing. Because of restrictions at my job, I definitely cannot OC there, and when I'm somewhere outside of work, I still prefer that others not know that I am carrying a gun.

That being said, everyone has their own reasons for OCing or CCing, and as far as I'm concerned, they pretty much all seem valid. It's a personal choice.

I OC everyday at work. With the uniform on, I become the center of attention generally when I walk in somewhere. When I'm off-I try my damnest to blend in the best I can. No police t-shirts, hats, no squad car, and no visible handgun.

I don't OC because I'm not a narcissistic attention-whore and because I tend to be around a lot of 4-6 year old girls.
