When I saw the pictures I thought it was an Ermine as well, but after looking around, it does appear to be a mink. Great find! Thanks for the pictures.

That is a mink, but the coloration is odd for a wild mink. Any mink farms nearby that it could have escaped? Adults will travel 50 miles or more in their search of food.

I'd rather have one of these in my garage than the rabies infested bobcat that attacked a guy and his nephew a few weeks ago in Massachusetts.
