Where`s the place to buy a reasonably priced expandable baton, that is also functional and sturdy.

NRA Store has a 20 3/4" expandable baton for $24.95, then Cabala`s has a Smith and Wesson 21" heat-treated expandable baton for $49.99. And I`ve seen everything in-between online at various places. Why the wide price ranges? And what`s functional in your experience and what isn`t?

I want it to stow in the console of my truck, just in case non-lethal force would be adequate in the event of a dust up. Where do I go?

@gregr This is the one you want. I carry it and it gets attention. The only other one I would consider would be the Benowi Camlok.

I have an old ASP baton just laying around collecting dust. It is from the mid 1990s, and has some wear from duty use. If you want it you are welcome to it.
