As many places as possible. Actually many foreign news services offer some refreshing perspectives.

Any news outlet I have found here in the US is too mired in sensationalism. Makes it very difficult to wade through all the nonsense.

I also like reading a variety of local papers. Of course that is getting harder as time goes on due to many now wanting subscriptions.

I do like NPR for the most part, although in trying to remain neutral, they don't really get into the heaviest of items.

    100% reasonable to me.

    +1

Check out my list of stuff.
NPR is often stuck in the same mindset and I tire of it quickly. Sad they do not do a better job.

Also, to everyone, I was farming some more sources as I often do. Of note I saw that Governor Mitch Daniels is podcasting his public speeches. Last night I listened to his Sept 5 speech on his trip to China. Very candid, straight speaking, non-sensationalist man.

You can find the Governor's podcasts/speeches here. It's an iTunes link. I urge you to get it FREE and subscribe to SOME of the tens of thousands of podcast sources. For instance, it seems about every church has a podcast. So, there are a TON of podcasts out there. Very grass-rootsy, but not necessarily left-leaning, peacenik activist crap. :)

I only have 700 podcasts left AFTER pruning them back. :)
