Which online, television, newspaper, and/or town crier sources do you use daily/weekly to get your news? Also which news sources do you purposely avoid?

I watch cable news and Read AP on Yahoo. Then I take the events they talk about and go to multipule websites to get the full picture. No certain ones, just whatever is covering that paticular story. Also skimming through other forums can sometimes yield good results too.

I never rely solely on blogs nor do I visit many at all. I never get my news from blogs period.

Also, overseas news sources yield excellent results on USA foriegn policy affairs, UN event and sessions, and world events. Of course.

Sometimes flip to MSNBC for laughs!

I stopped watching ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC about a year after 9/11.
I stopped reading any newspaper about 2 years after 9/11.

So, it's just FOX, Rush, and random internet sites.

Sometimes CNN and MSNBC cover things that Fox doesn't. If you don't monitor them from time to time you'll miss it. Also, it's good to know what your enemies are up to... :twocents:

I continuously listen to podcasts. Split between news, spanish language learning, and some entertainment.

Of those, these are more NEWS-y:

    Autoblog
    Autoline After Hours
    Autoline Daily - Audio
    BBC All Things Considered
    <![CDATA[Correspondents report | Deutsche Welle]]>
    Global News
    Guardian Daily
<![CDATA[Inside Europe: Inside Europe: the Inside Take on European Affairs]]>
    MacBreak Weekly
    The McLaughlin Group
    NBC Meet the Press (audio)
<![CDATA[Newslink Plus: News and Current Affairs]]>
    NewsPod
    http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/theworld/podcasts/6503.xml
    Purdue Podcast
    Radio Prague - Feature Panorama
    Scottish Life
    Sunday: Religious News
    What They Play
60 Minutes - Full Broadcast in Audio

I have never had pay tv: cable/dish stuff. I will watch over the air NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX. But frankly I get mad usually when I watch. I want more news of human stories not so much divisive headlines. I can get that 24/7 at any instant. Usually choose not to.

Now that I see some of yours, I will look for podcasts. I know Fox News has some. It's just the ones I've had before were a bit too much/frequent.

You're certainly asking some pointed questions in here. First about the meaning of "bear arms" and now this one...

ETA; I missed one. "Describe past Presidents since... in one word".

New poster, three threads, no participation, all in 2nd Amend. & Politics. Not curious requests, but questioning...
