    No really. Everyone made some pretty valid points. I think the mod is right, it would open a can of worms that is already open elsewhere. Guess when I get tire of seeing plastic I will jump back to 1911Forum.

    I go to 1911forum for the technical aspect. I come to INGO for the more generalized firearms talk. It is as it should be.

    Dirt and sand you're good to go. Stepping on a mag? Ok, you got me there. I knew there had to be something wrong with the 1911 design. That's it. You can't step on the mags.

    I, too, like things the way they are now. There are already plenty of model-specific sites, but not so many sites by locality. It's good to be able to find lots of people from the same area, and I get to absorb stuff that I wouldn't even think about otherwise.
