Someone will step in and fill the void, like it or not. That's exactly what happened 30 years ago in Skidmore, MO. The town bully and local badass kept getting let off by the courts and eventually someone decided that enough was enough. They stepped up and put him down in front of a multitude of witnesses. And no-one saw a thing.

Mr. McElroy, who had shot an elderly Skidmore grocer in the neck with a shotgun. Known for stealing livestock, harassing women, destroying property and threatening lives, Mr. McElroy had been charged with numerous felonies over the years — his lawyer estimated at least three a year — but had never been convicted.

    Sounds like a rotten S.O.B.

Good for the townspeople. There are some people that just need killing. We are so civilized now that those people don't get what they deserve and terrorize people for way too long.
