No way, they're scary and mean. One time a group pulled into a gas station I was coming out of and one guy turned his vicious pit bull puppy loose on me. It must have licked my face for a few minutes while I was holding it for him. After he came back out and tucked the puppy back into his jacket, his group invited me to a benefit for a kid they didn't even know that was pretty sick from some form of cancer. When I showed up, the guy with the puppy brought me a beer and a plate of delicious pulled pork and other goodies. I was seriously fearing for my life. Some were BACA guys, a few family clubs, and there were a couple from those really scary clubs. Really good turnout and it raised a good bit of money to help with medical expenses. I still have nightmares.

I couldn't get one single person to help me out until a group of about 20 very rough looking bikers rolled up. Those guys were some of the nicest guys I ever met. They were not only kind enough to get my car running, but one of them insisted on buying me dinner while some others were tinkering with my car. And they even offered to follow me back to my house to make sure I got home okay. Not like creepy stalker follow me, but genuine concern follow me. They refused to take any payment and said they wouldn't have felt right if they left me stranded. Awesome guys. Looks can be very deceiving.

I have been honored to know some of those who ride for the patriot guard.

I didn't talk to many at my buddy's funeral because it didn't really feel like the right time/place but everyone appreciated them being there. There had been rumors of morons showing up to cause trouble and while the Patriot Guard would have been peaceful opposition, I don't know if the rest in attendance would have been, I know I wouldn't have.
