For me it seems like an easy way to get a bunch of gunk into your triggering system there. Also small little fingers may find there way inside as well. The area where the pins go now seemed to be a little weakened with less material.

So what does the rest of ya'll say?

it would be a conversation piece anyway, not real practical! kinda reminds me of the first time I got my hands on a powder coater, everything I owned became powder coated.... Makes me think someone just bought a new mill? :)

Fill the holes with clear or color acrylic, a couple of LED's and you'll sell a million of them.

YES!!!!!!! Stick a battery in the grip to run the lights! Install a tiny little microswitch on the safety selector, constant on when in "safe" and flashing when in "fire". I'm gonna get RICH!!!!

Ever since I saw the Batman movie with Tommy Lee Jones as Two Face, I always wanted guns with drum mags and neon light accents...

AND I see I already need to patent this idea...... It will be bigger than the Snuggie!!

I want to place lenses in the holes and place a light inside, turn it into a nice lamp or nightstand lamp :)
