last time I bought nathans at the store (walmart in beech grove) they were outdated. and at that price for hot dogs I wasnt happy, but it wasnt worth the drive back.
so just a heads up to everyone to check the dates on the package if you get any of the specialty hot dogs. I usually do but not enough obviously.

LOL yes he was. The knives and other equipment were blessed but only to make sure they were clean. I worked for Red Gold Tomatoes and delt with a Rabbi once a month when we wanted to make Kosher spaghetti sauce.

I grew up in Maine so my favorite hotdog is a red snapper, which is a natural cased hot dog that is bright red, then they are served on a split top bun. Now when we have hot dog's they are Buffalo Gal Buffalo and wild boar dogs.

Sams has the a 1/4 Nathans and a 32oz pop for under 3 bucks at the snack counter.:yesway:

I have ate and sold hot dogs all over the nation .

For the cheap dog Gordons Food Serivce has a great "classic hot dog".

"Red" dogs down south are unique .

Zanesville Oh. has a local HD maker named Rittburger Meats. A truly unique tasting dog. The spice combo is one I could not relate to any other dog.

Beef dogs all have differing tastes.
Eisenberg and Vienna beef out of Chicgo are examples of that.
I like the Eisenburg over the VB, but hey thats my tastes.

I'll echo what others have already said about Nathan's and Hebrew National, I like both. I wasn't aware that Boar's Head made hot gogs, I'll have to give those a try. Their deli meats are the best, hands down.
