thanks i check it out, we have been looking at parts and a few our our friends have ar15 have let her shoot them and she needs a light weight for end and barrel for sure i might get her a 14.5 barrel and pin a extension on it.

I'm really wondering if a super light ar15 would make the recoil more than she wants. Not ever shot a super light ar15, but I know recoils isn't usually an issue with standard guns

+1 to the MAG rifle. I have one of their lowers and even that noticeably lightens my rifle. The "ICE Training Rifle" they helped build is supposed to be stupid light

Daniel Defense makes some pretty light rifles. Not sure if they are the lightest but that is kinda their thing.

My BCM w/14.5" lite weight and Centurion rail is 7.3#,but only get the Mod 1 brake if youre already deaf,or dont mind if you go deaf.

Bushmaster made a version of the Carbon 15 with no sights and a free floating fluted barrel that was only 4.5 lbs or something. It feels like you are picking up a Ruger 10/22.

we seen one she didn't like it, fells like a toy and the use proprietary parts, were going with a smith sport or a built gun.
