Question, has anyone ever had an Ar platform .22 that will out shoot a ( "what is considered a tactical 10/22) bull barreled 10/22?

I have shot a couple, but, they werent quite as consistant as my custom 10/22 .
Dont get me wrong, I love the looks of the AR platform .22's.

Yes, I wanted a Black 22LR, something with a synthetic stock and clip magazine. Bought a Marlin 795 earlier this month at Dick's on sale with a $25 rebate check I received today. It is accurate, reliable and light weight. I really like that Marlin synthetic stock. Total cost around $100, not counting the extra magazines I ordered.

Please do not use tactical, and .22 in the same sentence. It makes my eyes bleed, and my head hurt. I paid $489 for my 10/22 already cutomized. I did drop $85 for a new scope, to replace the scope that came on it.

Have to agree with the others. The proper term is Tacti-Cool and yes everybody needs one.

Start with a 10/22, add an ATI strikeforce stock, reddot, vertical grip, extended mag release. Should cost around $400 new.

My 2 cents, Let the 15/22 mature a bit, let the goodies get out there for it
    >mature
    >goodies get out there for it

    goodies been out since Vietnam

You will not find a better AR15 in 22 than the M&P15-22

"What Do You Care What Other People Think?" (look it up, Feynman may just blow your mind) Seriously. It's a tool. What are you going to do with it? Get the one that does that. If all you're trying to do is impress some wankers you know, save up a bit and buy a real AR or AK, it may take a couple of months, but you'll be much more satisfied at the puddles of drool you see. If you have something that needs shot, get the one that does that. .22LR is for learning and small varmints; something else for anything else.
