    The "counter guy" was not "good" about anything but potentially getting his boss's FFL license revoked.
    That's the stuff that losing a license is made out of!

    No - I didn't go into the whole story but he was doing a very good job of keeping the situation calm and hitting the questioning from several different angles. He was working at getting a better idea from both of them about what was really going on. He also called the woman off to the side to ask her some questions. Like I said - he did a good job...

    I never even heard of a straw law. Glad people explained that a gift is not in this. Or I would be in trouble for the number of guns I bought and gave to my son.
