S&W 639... My dad purchased it new in the early 80's, put about 7k rounds through it, then I purchased it when I was 21 and have put close to 8k through it... Not a single failure of any kind in ~15k rounds (except for several when I purchased aftermarket mags for it, before I quit using them a week later)... Being all stainless steel, it shoots very nicely, and doesn't show very much wear at all.

I bought a Ruger single six on my 21st b-day. Still have it and boy can it shoot. I'm only a little sorry i didn't go bigger, like a GI1911, but i know i'm a much better shooter for burning hundereds or thousands of rounds through a .22.

Dad's war trophy, a byf P-08 Luger. I shot that pistol way too much for what it is worth today. I still have it. It will eventually go to my two year old grandson who carries the family name. The first one I bought was an Argentine Model 1927. I have owned/still own other 1911 pistols, but I wish I still had the Argie.

Go easy on me, I was only 21 and didn't know any better at the time!

    I currently have a Glock 23 and S&W 442...... I've learned my lessons!

Glock 22 when I was 18. Dad helped me get it a few months after I started ISU and lived around 16th and Wabash. I slept a lot better with that under my bed.
