    First rifle...my uncles M1A, when I was 14. Damn near put my on my ***, IIRC.

    First handgun is a bit hazy...but I believe it was a G17, which was promptly replaced with a .357 Magnum..."Gotta learn to deal with that flinch, boy."

    I don't know the make, but a .22LR target rifle with aperture sights. The first pistol I shot was a .38 Colt Police at my dad's boss' house. I also shot a Ruger single-six .22LR and .45LC. There were a couple others but that was 11 years ago; I'm 23 :D.

    First Pistol: <--44Mag Desert Eagle in the picture
    First rifle: .223 Ar-15 and a 22-250.
    I thought it was really fun until my dad said I had to pay half of the rounds we spent.

    22 lr single jc higgens ,My dad named her "josephine" after the aunt that gave it to him as payment for helping remodel & do chores around her house .Still in the family with my brother & the family holds it in high regard because my father introduced all my siblings to shooting sports with "josephine"
