If you see something you like, dont dawdle. Watch them all. I'm a huge documentary fan. When we first got netflix, I found "how its made", a Canadian series that documents, well, how they make stuff. Its really intriguing and well produced. I was nibbling away at them every couple weeks. Went to watch one a couple months ago and *poof!* gone. No longer available.
Netflix is known for not renewing licenses for shows. This isnt the first they have dropped. They also dropped Nickelodeon shows wholesale a year ago. Boy was my kid pissed when he couldnt watch Spongebob at-will anymore. And frankly I was too since that was one of the major draws when we signed up. "ooh, look we can also watch some Nick shows that we wont have after we drop comcast!"
Its a good service, but dont get too comfy with the selection. shows come and go monthly.
Bloodworth is a very good movie. Kris Kristofferson stars. Highly recommended. I concur with Breaking Bad. Excellent stuff. Although I have not seen it I hear very good things about House of Cards
Watched Hatfield McCoys series the other day. I enjoyed it if you have not seen it.
I don't remember the entire name of it (something like Northwoods law) that was a season or two about conservation officers in Maine. It was reality, but I liked it too.
A little gem that many have missed is a show called Survivors. It's British, and about the complete breakdown of society after the aggressive strain of the flu kills off 90% of the worlds population. I find it particularly interesting because firearms are scarce (a guy with a double barreled shotgun thinks he's hot &$@#), so the people have to be creative about protecting themselves. It's 3.8/5 stars

My son and I watched Don Knots in "The Shakiest Gun in the West" over Christmas break through NetFlix. He's 10 and thought Don Knots was a genius of a comedic actor. It is an OLD movie, but really funny. I can't remember if you have any kids old enough for it but it was a good feeling to not only enjoy a good movie but see an older one that wasn't too slow. Having my son recognize the genius of Don Knots was just icing on the cake. There's hope for that boy yet.
Burn Notice is what I've been working my way through recently.
Mythbusters, River Monsters, and quite a few other History/Discover/Animal Planets shows are avail as well.
