    bwframe it depends on who you ask. I did a report for a HS class where i talked to a state biologist from Missouri IIRC and he said that bow fishermen are absolutely necessary in controlling them. Then I have talked to others that said with the number of bow fishermen we have now will never make a real difference. Most folks I've talked to agree that the only way to control them is to bow fish at every opportunity because as soon as you stop they come back.

    Double T I considered doing that when i hook them but I have a feeling I wont like the taste, the only fish i like is catfish tuna and sometimes salmon

    I have a friend in Kansas who cans carp. It shows up at our yearly squirrel hunting get together and is lovingly referred to as " canned crap" but it's pretty fair on a Ritz with some hot sauce.
