I carry a Taurus Slim, P3AT or a Lock 30 (the G is silent light in slaughter). Loose the Glock and get yourself a nickle-plated sissy pistol. I also like my XDM9 or a good solid 1911.:draw:

Just get a 4inch service model XD9. I got mine about 4 or 5 years ago before all the hype and paid $350 out the door for it brand new. Of course now you have all the gear that comes with them, I have seen really good used ones around the $500 mark. Check 500 guns on the West side if you are close to Indy, he has some great deals and they come with lifetime warranties from the owner.

I carry a Beretta Px4 SC when not carrying a glock. Love that little gun, 3in barrel, very very VERY accurate. Also as others have suggested M&P compacts are pretty sweet.

I carry a Kahr CW 9 great little gun and you will have enough money left over to buy a nice IWB holster and ammo, with enough to buy dinner too! It is very accurate, thin and highly reliable.
