    Delton Kits

I have used DelTon and never a problem most of the problems that happen with any kit is that the assembler does not know what he is doing. The AR 15 is a sophisticated rifle and you really should know what you are doing.

Love mine, shoot the **** out of it and it works flawlessly.

Probably gonna get another next month, want the Dissipator kit for the lulz.

    Have the lightweight kit, currently.

Wait for the Black Friday sales. I picked up a Del-ton 20" basic kit last year for 15% off. I already had some stripped lowers that I got in a group buy. I think I put the rifle together for around $505 with shipping.

Maybe this is just me, but I like to have as many parts on my guns match as possible. I also think it's going to help the upper and lower fit together a little bit better also. I'm trying to find the best deals on a del-ton lower as possible, but the best I can find is about $100. It's not that much more than the dirt cheapest stripped lower out there is I think it'll be worth it to have more parts coming from the same manufacturer and hopefully having closely matching finishes.

FYI I bought my Del-Ton stripped lower from Indy Trading Post at the 1500 gun show. $80 bucks plus tax. They had two more late Sunday afternoon... might be able to call them and pick one up.

I picked up 3 LRB stripped lowers for $69 each, unfortunately after shipping and xfer fees they came to about $90 each. Still cheaper than all others in local gunshops.
